Course Details

Reiki 1 & 2 -- Usui Holy Fire® III

Reiki I and II are taught together during a weekend intensive. Both Placements (attunements) are given. All the information and techniques for both levels are covered including:

  • The standard Reiki session hand positions.

  • Giving a complete Reiki session for self and others.

  • Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Usui Sensei including: Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho - developing your intuition, Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed, Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes, Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing one's energy field.

  • Hayashi Healing Guide.

  • Using Reiki for specific conditions.

  • The Reiki II symbols, how to use them including practice time.

  • Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits.

The class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, practice using all the level II symbols including distant healing, and practice using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above. While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to this additional time which should be one evening a week for several weeks, or its equivalent, to practice Reiki with one, or more, people from your Reiki class or with members of your family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training.

Reiki Master -- Usui Holy Fire® III

The Master training combines the complete Usui/Holy Fire® III Master training into one 3-day class which is usually taught during a 3-day weekend or otherwise during the week.

  • The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the Reiki II symbols and can be used for healing.

  • The Empowered by the River of Peace Experience.

  • The Usui/Holy Fire® III Master Placement (attunement) which increases the strength of your Reiki energy and empowers the Usui Master symbol.

  • Practice using the Usui master symbol for treatments.

  • The Holy Fire® symbol is given for a total of five symbols for the entire system.

  • Four Ignitions (attunements) including the World Peace Ignition.

  • How to make a Reiki crystal grid that will continue to send Reiki to yourself and others after it is charged.

World Peace Reiki This class makes use of World Peace Reiki energy which has all the qualities of the Holy Fire III energy and includes a higher vibration that actively creates feelings of peace within each student. Also included in this class is the Empowered by the River of Peace Experience and the World Peace Ignition which establishes and strengthens the World Peace Reiki energy and empowers one to actively manifest peace in the world. This type of peace is similar to the peace Usui Sensei received on Mt. Kurama when he was given the gift of Reiki. The World Peace Ignition also empowers each student to teach the World Peace version of this class to others. To qualify to take this class, a student must have taken Reiki I&II and practiced Reiki II for at least six months. Also, a student must be able to draw the three symbols from Reiki II from memory. In the process of learning the healing techniques, Experiences, Placements and Ignitions (Note that Placements and Ignitions provide the same benefit as attunements.) and taking part in the guided meditations (Experiences), each student will receive many healing experiences.

Karuna® Reiki - Holy Fire® III

The Meaning of Karuna

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is also used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action." When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit. Because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is also stated in the Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by prajna or wisdom in order to have the right effect.

Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings (also called the Brothers and Sisters of the Light) who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by the supreme being. Thus, your healing is quickened as well. Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with the supreme being.
 

The Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master Teacher Class

Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Training

 

This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®. You will also be able to teach Reiki I&II and Reiki Master as Holy Fire® III classes. Karuna Reiki® is complete with eight practitioner symbols, one Master symbol, four Ignitions including the World Peace Ignition and two meditations that are guided directly by the Holy Fire® consciousness. Holy Fire® III In this Master class, you will learn to give Placements which are Ignition-like experiences for Reiki I&II and the first part of Reiki Master. (Placements and Ignitions are the same as attunements.) The Placement/Ignition system provides a more effective level of Reiki for the student and also empowers the symbols with more effective healing energy. A certificate and a 142-page manual are included. World Peace Reiki This class makes use of World Peace Karuna Reiki® energy which has all the qualities of the Holy Fire® III energy and includes a higher vibration that actively creates feelings of peace within each student. Also included in this class is the Empowered by the River of Peace Experience and the World Peace Ignition which establishes and strengthens the World Peace Reiki energy and empowers one to actively manifest peace in the world. The World Peace Ignition also empowers each student to teach the World Peace version of this class to others. Both levels of Karuna Reiki® and four Ignitions including the World Peace Ignition will be given as well as instruction and practice on the use of all nine symbols. You will be able to teach both levels after taking this class. Learn more about World Peace Reiki. Lots of practice time is included for giving treatments and using the symbols. We will also be doing chanting and toning with the Karuna Reiki® symbols. Instruction on how to give Placements for Reiki I and II and Ignitions for Reiki Master and Karuna Master. Come network with other Reiki Masters from all over the country and often other parts of the world! This is an exciting workshop with lots of dedicated, high energy people. A certificate and a manual are included with in depth descriptions of each symbol and each Ignition process.

ICRT Animal Reiki I & II

Animal Reiki I & II are taught together during a two-day class and includes two Animal Reiki Placements (attunements). For those who want to share Reiki with animals, this beginning training is comprehensive. Upon completion, you can offer Animal Reiki treatments to all species of animals.
The Animal Reiki energy received in this course is a unique Reiki energy given to us as a special life force energy for the animals.  The Placements given in the ICRT Animal Reiki I & II class will attune and unify the Animal Reiki symbol with each student’s existing Reiki energy and symbols and allow the practitioner to channel the Animal Reiki energy.

This course includes practitioner skills, tools, and techniques needed to share Reiki with the animals. It is a combination of lecture, discussion, and practice and is open to all Reiki lineages. The information and techniques for both levels include:

  • The history of ICRT Animal Reiki.

  • Animal Reiki defined and discussion of priorities for animals.

  • An Usui Reiki symbols refresher.

  • The Animal Reiki symbol—The Tree of Life.

  • Animal Reiki I & II Placements.

  • Animal Reiki techniques for in-person and distant sessions, including preparation exercises and healing technique meditations: Animal Reiki Grounding Exercise, Whole Body Awareness Exercise, Divine Animal Circle Healing Technique, Healing Compassion Fatigue, and Animal Grief Healing Meditation.

  • Discussion on giving Animal Reiki full sessions in person or live online, including session preparation, receiving the animal’s consent for Reiki, various Animal Reiki session environments, and developing your own Animal Reiki style.

  • Review of common healing issues for animals, including disharmony, unfulfilled purpose, loneliness, grief, confusion, illness, compassion fatigue, end of life, animals and children, and behavioral problems.

  • Distant Animal Reiki techniques for single animals or groups, candidates for distant Reiki, and how to use photos, written notes, Facetime, or live webcams for distant sessions.

  • How to give Reiki to many species of animals.

  • Balancing empathy and compassion, compassion fatigue and practitioner self-care, and end-of-life support, whether natural death or compassionate euthanasia.

  • Practice time working with animals in person or online.

  • Review of how to create a thriving Animal Reiki practice, including in the formal or professional environments of veterinary offices, zoos or wildlife rehab facilities, animal shelters, therapy animal organizations, animal sanctuaries, and ways you might use Reiki in these settings.

  • The ICRT Animal Reiki I & II Manual, authored by Colleen Benelli, Sioux Strong, Robyn Benelli, and Pamela Allen-LeBlanc.

  • A class certificate.

  • A one-year Reiki News Magazine subscription.

While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is completed. ICRT Animal Reiki Master

The ICRT Animal Reiki Master class is a three-day class. To qualify to take this class, a student must have taken Reiki I & II and Reiki Master for humans and the ICRT Animal Reiki I & II class. This Master class provides the Animal Reiki symbol and energy and the tools and techniques needed to practice, share Reiki with animals, and teach ICRT Animal Reiki with skill and expertise. Upon completion, you can teach both in-person and online ICRT Animal Reiki I & II and Master classes.

The Animal Reiki energy received in this course is a unique Reiki energy given to us as a special life force energy for the animals.  Animal Reiki energy empowers both animal and human vitality and life force and restores the blessings between the animals and the people. Animal Reiki energy and this Master class are as deeply healing for humans as for the animals.

The ICRT Animal Reiki Master class includes four Ignitions (attunements), the Tree of Life Experience, and the Whole-Body Listening Experience. The Ignitions will ignite and unify the Animal Reiki symbol and energy with your existing Reiki Master symbol or symbols. In addition, you will learn how to teach the tools and techniques for your ICRT Animal Reiki I & II and Master classes.

The teaching tools and techniques presented in the class manual are for both online and in-person ICRT Animal Reiki classes.

In this three-day course, you will:

  • Learn additional practitioner skills to help work with and heal animals using Reiki.

  • Receive four Ignitions to the Animal Reiki symbol and energy.
